This page explains what personal information Porsche's Gardens collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Porsche's Gardens is a garden care service in Toronto and the GTA, and we follow Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA) and Ontario practice.
The form asks for your name, email, phone number, a description of your request and the service you are interested in. We use it only to reply to you and to arrange garden work. The website does not keep a copy: the form sends an email to our inbox, and that email is what we keep.
The testimonial form asks for a rating, a title, your review, your name and your email. Your rating, title, review and name are shown publicly on the site once published. Your email is used to contact you about the review and is not displayed. The site also records your IP address with the review, to help prevent spam and duplicate reviews. These details are stored on the website until the review is removed.
We use Google Analytics (through the Google Site Kit plugin) to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies only after you press Accept on our cookie banner (if you reject, none are set), and then collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser, and the pages you view. We use this only to understand how the site is used and to improve it. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers when a page loads.
Some of these providers process information outside Canada. We only share your information with these providers to run the site and our email.
Contact messages stay in our email inbox until we delete them. Testimonials stay on the website until they are removed. Analytics data is kept by Google under its own settings.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, including removing a testimonial. You can also withdraw consent to us contacting you. Email [email protected] or call 647-513-9367 and we will respond as soon as we can. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and its effective date.
